Curation

Hanna Koller, born in Speyer, studied contemporary dance in Munich, where she also landed her first professional engagements. In the late 1980s, she moved to Cologne, where she worked as a freelance dancer in North Rhine-Westphalia and Stuttgart. In the early 1990s, she switched roles and worked in the scheduling department for theater and dance at the City of Cologne’s theaters. From 2005 to 2009, she managed the dance company PRETTY UGLY TANZ KÖLN at the Schauspiel Köln. Since 2009, she has curated the international dance series at the Bühnen Köln. In 2018, the Cologne Cultural Council awarded her the “Cultural Manager of the Year 2017” honor.
